Rules & Regulations For Chess

RULES & REGULATIONS:

· All FIDE rules are applicable.

· The time control is 15 minutes for each player.

· The organizer reserves the right to reject any entry without assigning a reason.

· All players must register through the website at http://www.veernalafoundation.org/.

· No academy t-shirts are allowed in the tournament hall.

· Please bring your own chessboard and pieces.

· Players are responsible for being ready to play at the start of each round and are expected to remain within a reasonable distance of the playing area, paying attention for when their group is called to play.

· If a player has any questions regarding the rules, they may raise their hand and speak with a tournament official.

· Spectators, including parents and coaches, are not permitted in the playing area.

· Players may only leave the playing area during a game with the permission of a tournament official. They are not allowed to speak with spectators while their game is ongoing, even if granted permission to leave the playing area. Once a game is completed, the players become spectators and must exit the playing area. Spectators must remain quiet and not interfere with any game.

· Players are prohibited from having cell phones, electronic communication devices, computers, or media devices in the playing area, even if they are turned off.

· Spectators must keep their electronic devices on silent mode.

· The decision of the Chess Arbiter is final.

2)All the Participant are requested to carry their Aadhaar/Student ID Card as an ID Proof
