Rules and Regulations for the 3K Run

General Guidelines:

1.  Eligibility:

· Participants must be at least 18 years old on the day of the event.

· Minors require parental or guardian consent during registration.

· Registration is mandatory and must be completed online or at designated registration points.

· All participants must behave respectfully towards fellow runners, volunteers, and event staff.

· Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

· Participants must wear appropriate running shoes

2. Health and Fitness:

· Ensure you are physically fit to participate. Consult a doctor if you have pre-existing medical conditions.

· Notify the organizers during registration if you have any special medical needs.

· Those with medical conditions must consult their doctor and may be required to submit a fitness certificate during registration.

3. Identification:

· Each participant will receive a unique bib number at registration. The bib must be pinned securely, it’s representing your race number for your registered event.

· Photo identification (e.g., ID card, driver’s license, or passport) must be presented during check-in.

· Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be used only by the registered participant.

 

 Event Day Instructions:

 1.  Reporting Time:

· Participants must arrive at the venue at least 45 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for check-in and warm-up.

2. Check-in counters will close 15 minutes before the start time.

Starting Point:

· All participants must assemble at the designated starting area as directed by the event organizers. Announcements will guide participants to their starting positions.

· The run will begin promptly at the scheduled time, and the starting line will remain open for 10 minutes after the start.

3. Route and Conduct:

· Follow the clearly marked route and the instructions of marshals and volunteers positioned at key points.

· No shortcuts, unauthorized detours, or leaving the course midway without informing event staff.

· Maintain respect and courtesy towards other participants and event staff. Disruptive or aggressive behavior will lead to disqualification.

 Safety Rules:

1.  First Aid:

· First aid stations will be available along the route and at the finish line, equipped with essential medical supplies.

· If you feel unwell or experience an injury, signal to the nearest volunteer or marshal for assistance.

· Participants are encouraged to carry any personal medication they may require (e.g., inhalers).

· Hydration stations will be located every 1 km along the route. Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated but avoid littering.

 2.  Prohibited Items:

· The following are strictly prohibited on the racecourse: pets, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, or any motorized devices.

· Use of headphones or earphones is discouraged for safety reasons, as participants must remain alert to their surroundings and instructions.

Post-Run:

1. Finishing Line:

· Upon crossing the finish line, participants must move promptly out of the finishing area to avoid congestion and ensure smooth flow for others.

· Volunteers will direct participants to hydration stations and recovery zones.

2. Prizes and Certificates:

· Prizes, if applicable, will be distributed as per the categories announced.

· Certificates of participation will be available for all registered runners who complete the race. These can be collected on-site or downloaded from the official event website.

Disqualification:

1. Participants will be disqualified for:

· Falsifying registration information or using someone else’s bib number.

· Unsportsmanlike behavior, such as pushing, blocking, or using offensive language.

· Failure to follow the marked route or instructions given by event staff and marshals Bringing prohibited items onto the course.

Disclaimer:

1. The organizers will take all necessary precautions to ensure participant safety but cannot be held responsible for any injuries, illnesses, loss, or damage incurred during the event.

2. By registering, participants agree to:

· Abide by all rules and regulations.

· Consent to the use of their photographs or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes.

· Accept the event’s terms and conditions as final and binding.

Additional Notes:

· Hydration stations will be located every 1 km along the route. Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated but avoid littering.

· A baggage counter will be available at the venue for storing personal items. The organizers are not responsible for valuables.

· Spectators are welcome but must stay within designated viewing areas and not obstruct the course.
