A quiz is an engaging and interactive activity designed to test knowledge, spark curiosity, and promote learning in a fun way. Whether conducted for educational purposes, team-building, or entertainment, quizzes encourage participants to think critically, recall information, and explore new concepts. They can cover a wide range of topics, from general knowledge and current affairs to specialized subjects like science, history, or pop culture.

QUIZ RULES:-

· Team Formation:

· Each team will consist of 2 members.

· Quiz Format:

· The quiz will consist of 4 rounds:

1. General Knowledge

2. Subject-based (Science, Math, History, Geography, etc.)

3. Current Affairs

4. Rapid Fire (short, quick-answer questions)

· Time Limit:

· Each team will have 30 seconds to answer each question.

· In the Rapid Fire round, each team gets 15 seconds per question.

· Scoring System:

· Correct answer: +10 points

· Incorrect answer: -5 points (or no points, depending on the organizers’ preference)

· In the Rapid Fire round, each correct answer will earn 5 points.

· Question Difficulty:

· Questions will vary in difficulty based on the grade level of the participants.
For example:

Classes 6-8: Simple to moderate-level questions

Classes 9-12: Moderate to advanced-level questions

· Answering Process:

· Teams must designate one member to answer each question. If both members answer incorrectly or fail to respond within the time limit, no points are awarded.

· If a team needs more time to discuss, the captain can request an additional 15 seconds once per round, but this will be subject to the discretion of the quizmaster.

· Tiebreaker:

· In case of a tie, a Sudden Death Round will be used. Each team will take turns answering questions, and the first team to answer incorrectly loses.


· Conduct and Behavior:

· Teams must maintain respectful behavior towards other teams and the quizmaster.

· No external help (phones, notes, or internet) is allowed. Any violation will lead to disqualification.

· Final Round (Optional):

· A Final Showdown may be held between the top teams after the rounds. The questions will be more challenging, and the first team to answer correctly gets an advantage.
